It is not the first time for one to study one thing and do the other. This time, it has happened to one Bhanu, the London based aviation entrepreneur who is stopping at nothing in helping his local people in India and Philippines to achieve their dreams. Because of his efforts to help local people achieve their dreams, Bhanu Choudhrie was in 2008 named the Entrepreneur of The Year at the event dubbed The Asian Voice Political and Public Life Awards. The organizers of the award said that Bhanu stood up from the rest of his participants because he has used his life to serve the interests of the less fortunate in the community since he left the United States.
As a young man, Bhanu Choudhrie studied in a local school in India before moving to the United States to study marketing from the University of Boston. Later, Mr. Choudhrie moved to Harvard Business School. Upon his graduation from Harvard, Bhanu Choudhrie opened his own equity investment business called C&C Alpha Group. The business later became a family business that is now transforming many people’s lives back home in India and in the Philippines
Although Bhanu Choudhrie comes from a family with business-minded folks, it was until his graduation that he started thinking about how to start his own aviation company. After graduating with a basic degree from Boston University and later from Harvard Business School, Bhanu Choudhrie worked at JP Morgan, from where he started thinking how to start his business. Bhanu could later relocate to London, UK, to help in establishing and making decisions together with some of his family members.
Nineteen years after it was started, C&C Alpha aviation business continues to spur hope among several people in London and in Bhanu’s home country, India.
